Local Sotheby's International Realty Agents Honored with Prestigious Recognition
Santa Barbara, CA - June 4, 2009 - Sotheby's International Realty, Inc. is proud to announce two prominent Montecito agents are featured in the just-released “America's Top 400 Real Estate Professionals for 2008,” an annual ranking sponsored by The Wall Street Journal, REAL Trends and lore Magazine. Fred Bradley was listed at No. 26 in the ranking's "Top 100 Agents by Sales Volume" category based upon a sales volume of $117 million, and Suzanne Perkins was listed at No. 35 with a sales volume of $99.5 million.
The company had a total of 18 agents nationwide in the "Top 100 Agents by Sales Volume" category, including 4 out of the top 5 agents in the list and the agent ranking No. 1 in the country. Serena Boardman of Sotheby's International Realty's East Side Manhattan brokerage was named the top agent in the category with a sales volume of over $255 million, the highest in the nation.

This marks the third time in the past four years that Sotheby's International Realty has had the No. 1 agent in the country in individual sales volume, with Perkins having been named the top agent in the category in 2007. 2008 is the third year in a row that the company has had 10 or more brokers from across the country recognized in this prestigious roster. The Top Real Estate Professionals list was published on June 4 on The Wall Street Journal's website, wsj.com, averaging over 20 million visitors each month.
Other Sotheby's International Realty agents recognized in this year's Top 100 Agents by Sales Volume list represented markets including Manhattan; Greenwich (Conn.); Southampton (N.Y.); Bridgehampton (N.Y.); Palm Beach (Fla.); Jackson Hole (Wyo.); Sunset Strip (Calif.); Carmel (Calif.); and San Francisco (Calif.).
